Calathea makoyana

Calathea makoyana has been called the "Peacock plant" for its showy green, red, and purple leaves that resemble a peacock's tail feathers. The plant is native to the rainforests of Brazil and Colombia.The Peacock plant is a striking houseplant that can be grown in low-light conditions. It prefers humid environments and thrives when given ample water.With proper care, it can reach a maximum height of about 20 inches (50 cm).
