Areca Palm - Dypsis lutescens Height 65 cm

The Dypsis lutescens - the areca palm, also known as the bamboo palm or golden cane palm, is native to Madagascar. This species of palm can grow up to 15 meters in height in the wild and up to 3 or 4 meters as a houseplant. The Dypsis lutescens has an attractive yellowish trunk with a green crown and dark green leaves that have a light stripe running down the center.
